Here is a non-exhaustive list of all the things we bought in advance and arranged. Hopefully this might be useful to someone out there! The things I was really glad I brought were, plastic bowl to eat out of, good earplugs, multiple pairs of cheap sunglasses, cable ties and bungee cords, lamps that you can wear on your head. It is impossible to stress how hard it can be to find stuff in your tent. And it was so worth buying cheap pillows from Walmart to sleep on. The spray bottle was a godsend, and the mirror came in handy as well.Most of this, we sorted in advance. It's worth doing because despite that, I spent about 2 hours lost in a giant Walmart en route to Reno, right after I'd spent 3 long exhausting hours in a Home Depot. It is very tough getting all of that in one day, which if you're coming from the UK, you're probably going to do on account of rental cars, etc!
